About this deal

children treated with TTFD, no serious adverse events reported, one experienced worsening of behavior/symptoms, two experienced rash Physiological fatigue is caused by inadequate rest, physical effort or mental strain and could be categorized as peripheral fatigue, produced by changes at or distal to the neuromuscular junction. Central fatigue originates at the central nervous system (CNS), which decreases the neural drive to muscles. Fatigue development could result from different factors including metabolites, energy demands, oxygen availability, ion regulation, neural contributions, and physiological reactants during contractive processes [ 9]. Diabetic lactic acidosis – 100mg/day IV for 7 days resolution in symptoms, followed by 75mg indefinitely (2008) Lactic acidosis caused by low-dose metformin: Thiamine HCL 100mg followed by 75mg TTFD long-term, normalization of all liver values (2014)

The Effects of TTFD Supplementation on Exercise-Related Biochemical Indexes after Exercise Challenge a) Dap1948 has inform me, that in England pear-shape refers to any negatives. and my reply. Oh... did not known that... Mania, Ranting & Raveling (more of caring on about nothing than loudly), (b), Seems to make dry mouth worst, Seems to increase need for more fiber, sleep disturbance. This advice about thiamine supplementation has given me hope that perhaps I may find some level of improvement to my failing health. I was always a fit, slim and healthy person before Lupron and its effects have been utterly devastating, mentally and physically. I literally feel that nobody, even my family and friends believe what I have gone through. It has been a very lonely experience.

I’ve been feeling below par with chronic health issues for years, explored many allopathic and alternative approaches and even trained to a high level in bio-psycho-social wellbeing myself as a result of my debilitating symptoms. Tears of joy fell when I discovered Elliot’s protocols. Consequently, I’m both hopeful and optimistic about the future. My balance is pretty decent, just a bit more unsteady once in a while but my memory seems to have deteriorated. Thnk Gd not anywhere near K.S. but enough to concern me. Maybe, I am saying dry mouth wrong; it’s more of a cotton mouth. I had this dry mouth before starting TTDF, so it’s not TTDF. A key enzyme involved in mitochondrial energy metabolism called alpha ketoglutarate dehydrogenase (KGDH). Several nutrients serve as cofactors for this enzyme complex, with thiamine taking center stage. KGDH is a rate-limiting step in in the TCA cycle, meaning that when this enzyme slows down, every other downstream step also slows down. Why might I keep experiencing these “crashes” after exertion if my body is supplied with enough thaimine?

I used to eat a diet heavy in sugars and carbs and then noticed numbness forming in my fingers and toes. It took months to learn that it flares up whenever I consume any amount of sugar and even when I eat salt. Currently consuming 100mg Lipothiamine. I do not yet see improvement with neuropathy, musculoskeletal pain, insomnia or anxiety with this, but I only added the Thiamine on June 18. I was diagnosed with Parkinsonism when I went to the ER due to Vertigo (I was rolling my fingers and it was very uncomfortable for me to stop it). I have not notice doing this since starting TTDF. Yesterday, I notice while wearing a fairly new pair of shoes a little vertigo (they are now in the trash). Unlike other forms of thiamine supplementation, TTFD’s molecular structure allows it to pass through intestinal and cellular membranes without the requirement for a transport system. Once inside the cell, it can be activated and used as a cofactor in important biochemical processes.I took massive amounts of b12 supplements and ate beef liver and salmon everyday. The beef liver was the major thing that would make me feel okay, and I didn’t understand why. I’d tried b1 supplements before, but these were all the water soluble form. Thanks so much for your help on this matter. It seems like you are the only MD I’ve encountered who understands the subtleties involved with Thiamine and other nutritional issues. Your work undoubtedly is helping many people. Processed food are fortified with B1 (thiamine HCL is the most common which doesn’t cross the BBB). With the rise of neurological diseases they should fortify with TTFD. Supposedly, TTDF gives you bad breath. I went to my daughter’s and she didn’t notice anything on day 3. On day 5 my dance partner, said “not that I noticed and nothing offensive” when I asked. I have not tried to kiss anybody. There are a few ladies, I dream of kissing, but have not and I doubt if they would let me. Mosquitoes now hate me. I just went outside and I did not see any of them flying around me. Deer flies still buzz my head (those things hurt and I tried not to let them land on me). No noseeums are not repelled. Many thanks for your speedy reply – it’s very much appreciated! We have corresponded before regarding Lupron and the truly appalling effects it has on the body.

Maybe, I should have tried what Dap1948 is promoting, but I had never heard of it till posting. And, I now have more than 490 caps of TTFD. I wonder if it is as good of insect repellant. POTS (not typical POTS, don’t get dizzy, just get uncomfortable and very high heart rate when standing or moving positions)Thiamine responsive Leigh’s disease: Inherited mutation in the gene encoding Pyruvate Dehydrogenase, with a decreased affinity for its TPP cofactor. Treated with pharmacological doses of thiamine to stimulate defective enzyme activity re: magnesium, I take three Jigsaw magnesium tablets per day (375mg elemental Mg), along with a large number of other supplements. I do not currently take any prescription medications although the MD’s want me to take Toprol XL and Lexapro and Progesterone cream to manage the symptoms of dysautonomia and perimenopause. I do take a large quantity of supplements. Perhaps one of the below affects thiamine absorption?

b) Mania: I like mania, but sometimes it makes you do stupid, embarrassing things (i.e. Posting a Pray Event on Facebook, etc,), From what I’ve since read, I realise this is likely paradox symptoms. I’m now on btwen 62.5-125mg (1/4 – 1/2 tab) daily, and I find I still have to take the dose at night. Daytime doses make me too tired.I googled (dmso vs "tetrahydrofurfuryl disulfide") and got so many hits, but can't find one that says TDF is a component of DSMO.... c) Insect repellant: I have read that B1 repels mosquitoes (I will try to find a reference), all I can say, I was taking 200mg of (B1) HCL and it never helped me and mosquitoes now hate me. Dap1949 has indicated what she takes helps. As a kid I was very active, tanned easily, had a lot of energy and pretty normal as far as kids go. In my country, prescribing antibiotics is normal enough for general problems (even when it has no effect), not sure it’s related but I thought worth mentioning as it’d have been prescribed to me a few times when growing up. Around the age of 12, I started to have issues with my gut. I would get intense abdominal pain and stopped going to school as a result. Shortly after this, I became very pale and very weak physically, I was far weaker than anyone else in the school by a significant margin and so pale that it everyone noticed and used to insult me over it. The changes were clearly very extreme and abnormal. Over the years after this, I gained weight and continued to be relatively physically weak and very pale (unable to tan). It stayed like this relatively unchanged until I hit my 20s. Worth noting, my diet as a kid was quite bad, it consisted of a lot of junk food and soda, as I was very fussy with food. It was difficult to get me to eat meat/vegetables and I never consumed fruit. This was less a case during my teenage years and not at all into my 20s. Also worth noting, once the stomach issues began, I became heavily constipated and had consistent issues with digestion ever since, particularly it seems with stuff that are very “doughy”, like pizza would have a high chance of triggering abdominal pain. At some point in this timeline, I was also prescribed PPIs which I used for over a month for acid reflux issues (PPIs are horrendous of course, I know that now).
