About this deal

Wobbly Worm is a original game concept that can be played inside or outside as long as you have a level area for Wobbly Worm to do his dance. The children tried playing in our driveway but it slopes slightly leaving Wobbly Worm tilted. Without a flat spot, Wobbly Worm leans to one side and struggles to spin itself equally among the players.

As Wobbly Worm moves around, his head will sway from side to side. Reach out and try to place one of your hoops over his head. Remember, you can't move your feet! Not sure what game to buy next? Buy a premium mystery box for two to four great games to add to your collection! Buy Premium Box » This made the game super enticingfor older brother Alec, who was determined to master his wobble-aim. Childhood is gone in the blink of an eye [except the sleepless nights part, that lasts for decades I think] and I wanted to enjoy every moment I could and make it as fun as possible. Once you place one of your hoops over his head, try again with another. You can only have one hoop in your hand at a time!

B. Advanced game for Older Players

When it arrived L was immediately taken with the bright worm on the box and couldn’t wait to get it open and try it out. You will need two C batteries but other than that the game can be put together in under a minute. The pole (worms body) is three connecting tubes that you slot into the base and you can choose to use just two if your younger ones are smaller which is what we did. The worm’s head then slots in the top and you’re good to go. The only down side was that the worm’s head kept falling off, but L just found it funny so it didn’t ruin the game for us. All in all we really enjoyed Wobbly Worm and think it’s perfect for those sunny days in the garden that we’re all hoping will arrive some time soon. I confess I was initially drawn to this because I loved the name and seeing it in action on YouTube made me smile. I knew my son would love it and I was right. Wobbly Worm is designed for children aged 3+ and is an update on old fashioned hoopla. Wobbly Worm is a plastic worm with a base shaped like half an apple. Switch him on and he will wibble and wobble while you try to toss your hoops over his head. With summer upon us and children to entertain during the school holidays, it’s good to get out in the garden and play some games. We’ve been playing a new game from Spin Master Toys which is great in the garden, or works equally well inside if the weather is not on your side – Wobbly Worm.

You can make your worm as long or as short as you want, just by adding or removing worm sections. The Wobbly Worm has a maximum height of 3ft, so at full length he’s about right for my quite tall 6 year old. Of course, the taller he is, the more he wobbles. To set your worm off wobbling, just press the start button on the apple base and off he goes! Despite the movement, Wobbly Worm is not noisy. The children who play… that’s another story. But the giggles are a sign that Wobbly Worm is a ton of fun. Where to buy Wobbly WormThe base is a sweetly themed half apple, and wobbly worm pokes up from the centre. He’s constructed by connecting tubes together so that the height can be adjusted to three different heights [good for little Hero who isn’t quite as tall as his big brothers] and when the batteries are turned on, he rotates and wobbles quite noisily [but then, everything in our house is noisy, I barely notice these days] whilst everyone tries to throw a hoop over him. Last week we were kindly sent the Wobbly Worm game by Spin Master Toys in exchange for an honest review and I was really eager to try it out. L is only just beginning to get the concept of playing games where you take it in turns and I was looking for something that we could all play together. Aimed at children from 3+ Wobbly Worm is a great option.
