The Tilda Grand is perfect for the occasions when you want to impress your family and friends. We chose rice that grows high in the misty valleys of the Himalayas where the climate damper allows the grain to grow longer. These extra long grains will cook as separate fluffy grains each time and are perfect for one-pot dishes like biryani and boulos. Make every occasion a big one.For best results we recommend you soak the rice in cold water for 30 minutes, then rinse in a sieve with cold water. Hob - From Ambient. Everyone has their own preferred way of cooking basmati. This is our favourite. Allow 60g of uncooked rice per person (approx. 1/2 cup) 1 Measure dry rice: 2 measures water. With the bran layer intact, the rice has a distinctive nutty flavour. It is rich in nutrients and natural fibre, making it the ultimate rice for a healthy lifestyle. It also has a low to medium GI. It is delicious in soups, salads, vegetable mixtures such as ratatouille and stronger flavoured casseroles. For half a century we've known that Basmati belongs at the heart of every home and the centre of every table. Using the finest quality grains means our Basmati is simply full of natural goodness with a wonderful aroma and a long, fluffy texture that you'll adore from the very first taste.

Bring to the boil, reduce to a low heat, cover and simmer for 10 - 12 mins until the water is absorbed. Avoid opening the lid or stirring the rice. Our love for this ancient delicacy means we never compromise; only exceptional is ever good enough to carry our name.
