Input what percentage voltage drop is allowable. The smaller, the better, but the limit is 5% to keep devices working properly. So use 0.36 volts for smaller cables (6 AWG/16 ISO and smaller) and 0.24 volts for large cables (4 AWG/25 ISO and larger). The point is, the only information that’s useful is the cross-sectional area of the cable. Everything else is misleading rubbish.
