About this deal

Avocado Smash Party edition in an extended version of the original game that comes with additional cards and even more exciting rules. This time, players must collect tasty toppings for their avocado toasts each time they hit the “Smash!” card. Can you play Avocado Smash with small children? If both cards have the same number of avocados on them, it is a smash! All players must smash their hands down in the center. The last player to react loses the round and takes all of the cards from the center, adding them to the bottom of their pile.

Avocado Smash! is creamy, high in healthy fats, and goes great with nachos. Oh wait, it’s none of those things. However, it is great fun, easy to learn and highly portable. There we go. Be the first player to get rid of your cards in this gloriously green gin-rummy-meets-snap game. The rules are simple: The Avocado Smash game doesn’t involve any points or score counting, making the whole game perfectly straightforward. The main goal is to get rid of all your cards as fast as possible. When you find a card saying Guacamole! everyone must shout “Guacamole!” WITHOUT smashing the cards on the table. The last person to do so is a loser and takes the whole pile. The same thing happens if you accidentally smash the pile. If any players smash incorrectly at any time in the game, cards are split between the offending players. Optionally, advanced players (or older kids) can reverse counting when they find the Guacamole card ( “three avocados”; “two avocados,”…etc.).Avocado Smash is a fast-paced card game where the first player to get rid of their cards is the winner. Sounds simple enough but the fast paced nature of this game means that it isn't always as straight forward as it seems. Avocado Smash Gameplay BUT – this is not enough to win this game. Once you run out of cards, you only get to the finale. Your last task is to perform one final “Smash!” at the right moment. If you succeed, you’re officially a winner.

The aim of the game is to be the first player to get rid of all of your cards. As you switch and smash your way through the game, you will test your reflexes and exercise your powers of observation, so stay alert! I love a party game and I love poached egg and avocado! So when I got the chance to play Avocado Smash by Ridley’s Games, I was really looking forward to giving it a try. You’re ready to start playing immediately after you deal all the cards among the players. How to Play Avocado SmashThe first player to run out of cards is the winner; but they are only declared the winner if they survive the next smash! When you reveal a Guacamole Card, all players must shout, "Guacamole!" and the last player to react loses the round. However, if anybody erroneously smashes their hand down in the center on a Guacamole Card, then they are the loser for that round, regardless of who shouted last. When a Change Direction card is played players will also reverse the count. If the count was increasing with each player it will now decrease and vice versa.

Another problem with Avocado Smash is something that it shares with all of these type of games where all of the players are trying to slap the cards at the same time. Players are likely to slap the cards at the same time. This can lead to players hurting their hands. This is especially true if some of the players are overly aggressive. I don’t really see any major injuries occurring. Players need to be conscientious of other players though and try not to slap too hard because they were overexcited. Why We Love It: From its fresh design to simple rules and fast pace, this modern variation on classic snapping card games is a sure shot at any party or a family get together. What You’ll Need to Play Avocado Smash It is not uncommon to see multiple players in the finale. The ultimate winner of the game is whoever smashes the cards at the right moment first. If there is a situation where there are two reasons to slap a cards the two reasons offset one another and players shouldn’t slap the cards. Anyone who slaps the cards will have to take the cards from the center of the table. End of Game
