About this deal

Information about the minimum amount of time, in which the pixels change from one color to another. Very often the manufacturer provides the response time for transition from grey-to-grey (G2G).

The storage altitude shows the maximum possible altitude for secure storing of the display. Storing it above this limit may result in damaging the display.

In addition to our formal testing, I did some ad hoc viewing of selections from our photo suite and some of our usual video clips. Colors in photos looked bright and accurate, with strong contrast in both bright and dark areas. Colors in video looked vivid.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a colorimeter to measure color coverage and color delta. So I can’t say anything besides the factory declared data. The maximum number of colors, which the display is able to reproduce, depends on the type of the panel in use and color enhancing technologies like FRC. As I wrote, the monitor is a hub that allows you to charge the PC thanks to USB-C. My Thinkpad X1 Carbon loads at 65W, but you can get to charge at 90W.

ThinkVision P27h-20 Monitor

Information about the average amount of time, in which the pixels change from one color to another. From this point of view, Lenovo should have inserted speakers of at least 3W, or not inserted them at all. Because by connecting the notebook to the monitor the audio is automatically switched from the laptop to the monitor and this is quite annoying. The static contrast shows the ratio between the brightest and the darkest color, which the display can reproduce simultaneously, for example, within one and the same frame/scene.
