My only 'ding' to the story is the fact that Ben Daniels is referred to as Wolf - he wasn't Wolf, he was Fox.However with Alex's other missions this one seems the most personal one yet and he doesn't really think a lot of the time and mask rash decisions which could have almost got him killed. Forced to leave the country, MI6 sends him on a mission to Cuba with two doubtful CIA agents, of whom he is the sole survivor. There are nine other Alex Rider books, all excellent, and readers should also look at Steve Cole’s Young Bond books.

After scorpia rising and jacks death I felt like I was left hanging so this book answered my questions. There was a scene where he was outnumbered four to one by armed men and how he got out of it was unbelievable and simply brilliant. A collection of seven adventures that Alex Rider experienced outside of the missions assigned to him by MI6.I love that Horowitz has brought Alex back, and I love that I can use the buzz over this newest title to get new middle school readers hooked on the series.
