About this deal

The price is so accessible for parents compared to other brands on the market and they offer the best absorbency and comfort for both our boys. The Aldi Mamia nappies will now be my go to brand as they are affordable and have never failed to perform. They did not irritate the skin and there was no redness, like I have found with other brands on the market. These are the only nappies that have never leaked. The only slight problem was the sizing, as the size three nappies were slightly larger than other brands I’ve tried for my little one and didn’t fit as well. We go with Aldi nappies every time! I used them from newborn to size 6+ with my son, and am now using them again with my daughter. They are great value for money and, in my opinion, are better than some of the more expensive brands.” I would most definitely recommend the Mamia nappy to my mummy friends because first and foremost it offers super absorbency, my son can wear his nappy for over 12 hours at night and we've not had any leaks. The fit is really comfortable on my 6 month old, not leaving any marks and not irritating his sensitive skin. What an amazing product. The nappies where as good if not better than the leading brand. They absorb better than Pampers, Morrisons and Asda’s own and never ever leak. My little boy does large wees and these nappies had no problems in keeping the wee inside. Excellent value for money. Comfy and a really good fit. I have tried every nappy on the market on children in the nursery where I work and have always found these to be great.

Lidl also sells a premium range which the discount supermarket claims offers advanced comfort, fit and flexibility. These nappies come in sizes one to five. I recently changed from Pampers Premium to Pampers Baby Dry and they are excellent. My baby sleeps 10-12 hours with no leaks. I think they are great value for money because they are always on offer in the supermarkets.” The Mamia nappy range makes my life so much easier as a mum because I can have piece of mind that my children are wearing a nappy that contains all of their business. It also means I'm not being woken in the night by an upset little one whose nappy has leaked and therefore reducing my washing load which is a life saver. Alice: This nappy is very easy to use and I have experienced no leaks which is brilliant-less worry and less washing! They last well overnight which is important for the best possible night’s sleep for everyone. Katie: Yes, I already have. I find these nappies a lot softer than other nappies we have used. There were less leakages which means they are more cost effective and comfortable for my baby.

These nappies are the definition of value for money. As a new mother and a new resident in the UK, one easily gets caught up in the lifestyle of expensive prams, car seats, and cots – it’s so hard to know what to believe, so to come across an item that will not break the bank and is excellent quality is rare. These nappies are worth their weight in gold.

The main reason parents decide against disposables and opt for reusable nappies is the environmental impact. Around eight million nappies are thrown into landfill waste each day in the UK, and may take hundreds of years to decompose. On average, switching from disposable to reusable cuts carbon emissions from nappy use by a quarter. I would choose this product as it is cost effective and great quality. Due to being very absorbable my baby has not experienced any nappy rash which for makes this product 10/10. Other brands I have used leaked and needed changing more often making them quite expensive. The biggest thing that stands out is they are inexpensive and great quality. Couldn't ask for more from nappies. Both brands promise up to 12 hours of dryness meaning your baby’s bum and nappy should be nice and dry after a full night. We usually use Aldi’s Mamia and have never ever had a wee leak with them. We use them overnight for 12 hours and have never had a problem. Mamia nappies live up to their promise and really do offer 12 hours of dryness. The nappy feels dry and my daughter’s bum is dry and rash free after 12 hours in a Mamia nappy. This nappy is without a doubt the best nappy I have used for my little boy. The price, quality and comfort are definite winners for me. I would recommend them to any of the parents of the children I look after at nursery. A lot of my parents struggle for money and these nappies would be great for them. Although convenient and absorbent, disposables have their downsides. Most of them contain bleaching agents, dyes, latex, and other plastics. All nappies are tested before they go on sale, so although the materials are not harmful, if your baby has sensitive skin or allergies, there is a small chance of a reaction to the chemicals they contain. In many cases, swapping to a different brand will help avoid this issue.

What they say:

Reusable nappies have come a long way since terry squares. Poppers, velcro or plastic clips are used instead of pins and they often come as a one-size nappy which will fit for several years. There are a range of colourful and cool designs from brands available too. Reusable nappies are also chemical-free and, long-term, work out cheaper than disposables. Alice: To use more compostable or biodegradable materials within the product. If the reliability of the nappy was maintained with this incorporated it would be unbeatable. Loren: Yes definitely as they are such great value and do exactly what you expect them to do. Considering how active my baby is now, they moved well with her body. They were easy to put on and to dispose of. I am not overly keen on the pattern but that wouldn’t put me off buying them again in the future. Would you choose this product above all others on the market? We wouldn't change anything about these nappies – we love them! Tested by mum Sasha Bell for the Mother & Baby awards 2018: Amy: This nappy performs well and is reliable which makes life easier when having a baby. It contains even the messiest of nappies meaning no extra clothes are needed. Extra washing is the last thing I need. It looks good and is easy to get on when my child isn’t rolling around like a crocodile. I did find it moved about a lot in comparison to my usual brand but my little one doesn’t like to keep still so that could be the reason.

The award-winning Mamia Ultra-Dry Air System™ Nappies provide your baby up to 12 hours day & night protection. These feature Mamia Ultra-Dry Air System™ technology which provides fast absorption, distributes liquid evenly and helps prevent sagging. They are soft & breathable for your baby's soft skin. A slim design allows free movement, and the resealable fasteners and super stretchy sides ensure a snug and secure fit. Mamia Ultra-Dry Air System™ Nappies are dermatologically accredited by the Skin Health Alliance for added peace of mind. They contain 0%* perfume and are lotion free* and latex** free. These nappies are so affordable compared to other more expensive leading brands. People normally say the more expensive the product the better the quality but this is definitely not the case with these nappies. They do not leak and are very absorbent. I have used more expensive brands which leak and are not just a good fit. These also have cutest little design and the blue line on the front makes it easy to know when to change the nappy. I would certainly recommend the Aldi Mamia nappies to my friends and fellow mums as they are so affordable and excellent quality. They are designed well and have exceeded my expectations of a good quality nappy. They are easy to use and very absorbent for those longer periods of time during the night and my little one never seemed uncomfortable. We spoke to these real parent testers to get their review... How did this product make your life easier? Aldi says its nappies have an ultra-dry air system with a fast-absorbing core to keep your baby dry for up to 12 hours. The nappies don’t contain any perfume, lotion or latex and are designed to be soft and breathable with a slim design for free movement. Aldi's nappies are available in sizes one to six, and there are also plus sizes for extra absorbency. Lidl Lupilu NappiesI like the comfort and protection these nappies gave my little boy. Each nappy provided me with the assurance of leak-free nights and a better sleep for baby. The price is also very competitive, compared to other supermarket brands, and much cheaper than Pampers. I hope this product wins because it exceeds all expectations in comfort, protection and price. There is absolutely nothing wrong with these nappies so thereabouts nothing I can suggest to improve them. The design, quality, comfort and price are all perfect. As a nursery manager and a mum of two this product is just what I need! Tested by mum Amber Grinker for the M&B Awards 2017: Although the Aldi Mamia nappies are good quality and have lots of good features for example, re-sealable fasteners and that they are lasting and very good price per nappy, I prefer the Pampers Sensitive nappies as I feel they felt slightly better and fitted my baby better around her legs. Although the Pampers nappies are more expensive than the Mamia range I felt that the price is justified by the quality of the nappy. These nappies seem to absorb liquid better than other brands and therefore my little boy has needed changing less. They are seems softer than other brands making my little boy more comfortable. They last the full night as long as my little one is just seeing which makes night times much easier. No need to disturb my little man to change him. With having a newborn breast fed baby I can go through about 10 nappies a day. Due to the great quality of the nappy I don't need to change this as often. I have no leaking , the absorbency is great especially next to other brands which leaked. Another great thing is this product is relatively inexpsive so makes the affordability of these nappies perfect for me and my baby.

Our Mamia Ultra Dry Size 4 Maxi nappies offer great quality and incredible value for money. Mamia Nappies have a contoured design, are dermatologically tested, hypoallergenic and provide comfort night and day for up to 12 hours.” Tested by mum Katie Roast for the Mother & Baby awards 2018:

Tested by mum Emma Walker for the M&B Awards 2017:

Tracy: I would rate this nappy very highly and believe it does deserve to win the best disposable nappy, they look great whilst being good quality and cost-effective. They fulfil all qualities I look for in a nappy, they do not leak, can last 12 hours overnight and do not irritate the skin. I have a front sleeping baby and found that using other brands they would often leak at the front overnight, but have so far had no such occurrence of this with the Mamia nappies. What changes would you make to this product?
