In this early reader based on the Curious George TV, show George learns about counting and grouping at a dog show. I quite enjoyed this picture book and liked that it discusses the importance of maintaining a clean image.

Snowmen at Night by Caralyn Buehner is a wonderful winter read aloud. This cute book is full of rhyme and beautiful, detailed illustrations. It lends Like all the Harry stories, this has wonderful illustrations and great humour. A really fun dog story, highly recommended. The Mixed Up Chameleon is a wonderful children’s book by Eric Carle. It’s one of my favorites, and my students always loved it as well! Grandma has come to visit and she has brought a gift for Harry. She has knitted him a doggie sweater. Harry feels warm and snug in it, but he just hates the flowers. His dog friends all laugh at him when he goes for a walk. He decides to get rid of the sweater.
