Some mowers that I have tested are difficult to adjust and have less cutting heights, this is not the case with this Yard Force helped by the lever being centrally mounted. I’ve not tested the mulching feature yet – the long grass needed a long then short cut and it was still slightly damp. First off, I can tell you that I was so impressed with this mower’s build quality. It felt as good as any of the Bosch mowers I have tested and the power performance seemed to match that of my highly regarded Worx WG779E.2. How does this compare to the Bosch? The Bosch 32 Li only has 3 height adjustments compared to the Yard Force that has a very respectable 5 positions. The Yard Force has a very low 20mm position for that very close/short bowling green cut, just be careful, if your lawn is not perfectly level you could end up scalping your lawn. The metal blades on this mower are of a good quality, sharp and give a very precise cut. Replacement blades are freely available and reasonably priced. With metal blades you also have the option of sharpening the blade, this can be carried out by any competent DIY person. As well as improved air flow, hybrid grass boxes are great spaces savers as they fold flat to compliment the folding handles.
