The robot supports manual, app, and voice controls. It works with the Ecovacs Home app (available for Android and iOS), which offers many cleaning customization options. Most of the time I just use it on Auto mode, but the app lets you customize the number of cleaning passes (once or twice), vacuum power (Quiet, Standard, Max, or Max+), water flow level (low, medium, or high), and cleaning sequence. The app also records the robot's cleaning history, and lets you create cleaning schedules and set Do Not Disturb (DND) times. DND mode disables continuous cleaning, and turns off the robot's microphone and lights.

Between the X1 Omni's water tanks is a narrow accessory storage box that houses two extra washable mopping pads and a cleaning brush. The Omni Station doesn't offer storage space for the mopping pad plates, but I wish it did.
