Scythe always makes an excellent first impression with their packaging by making sure there is a ton of information about the product on their boxes. Scythe is sure to include a large tube of thermal grease, but there is only enough paste for three, maybe four applications in it. Inside the box are the installation instructions, hardware for both Intel and AMD platforms, as well as a small tube of thermal paste.

Beyond that, we see the braided lead for the 4-pin PWM fan connection, and we also see the five heat pipes as they take different paths through the stack of fins, while also staying out of the way for mounting purposes.

For completeness, it should be added that the cooler also comes with a tube of Thermal Elixer 2 thermal paste with a claimed thermal conductivity of 3.

Temps were excellent from the Big Shuriken 3, coming surprisingly close to the original Hyper 212 EVO.
