Frozen 2’s box office haul benefited from its simultaneous release. Generally, animated films have a more staggered roll out worldwide, which reduces the opportunity for a mammoth opening weekend. Good on Nintendo and Illumination for doing things the right way, and may the money continue to pour in if they absolutely deliver like this again going forward. Vegetables such as broccoli, green beans or asparagus can be frozen, although you'll need to blanch them first (immerse in boiling water for a couple of minutes, then cool with ice or cold water before freezing). Cooked or parboiled potatoes freeze well, too. Many batch-cooked foods freeze well, including soups, casseroles, curries, Bolognese sauce and chilli con carne (or bean chilli, if you don’t eat meat). Keep in mind Little Mermaid launched on a holiday weekend with practically no fresh competition in the theatre so even that best case scenario wasn’t enough for US to single handily carry the film. These are the kinds of beautiful, joyful, reverent, magical and authentic movies I want to see much more of again in modern times, from Disney and Pixar too.On the bright side I don’t see this flopping as bad as Mulan did. Significantly less revenue compared to production budget + marketing which wasn’t surprising considering the amount of negative controversy that film got before it even released. It made the controversy Little Mermaid got look like a minor inconvenience in comparison. So there is at least that if you want to huff up some copium with the other hopefuls.

Even the regular shiller YTers for that movie are praying this movie can at least crawl to break even] is because it had a notable higher then average 250 Million production budget [they haven’t still crossed that as LM is barely over 200M atm] nevermind the higher then average marketing budget that they still need to cross to break even.
