About this deal

The beginning is romantic and beautiful and the whole support of the comic towards LGBT members is astonishing and heartwarming to read. though I hope it also will show some conflict and not only be so light. I'm in a bit of a comic mood this year and, well, since I love this world I decided it was not a bad idea to continue with some more Avatar for now and see what our sweet characters have gotten themselves into. The color of the wingsuits' cuffs keeps changing from gray to yellow in the last few panels in the graphic novel. Part 1 ends with Tokuga, freshly mutated by the spirit's possession, storming into Keum's office and forcibly seizing control of his assets. The 15 Best Comics of 2017". io9. December 20, 2017. Eskey, Nicholas (July 27, 2017). "SDCC '17: Interview: "Legend of Korra" Writer Michael DiMartino and Artist Irene Koh". Comics Beat. Archived from the original on August 7, 2018 . Retrieved August 7, 2018. While the miniseries’ villain leaves much to be desired, the minor conflicts prove much more interesting and developed. Raiko’s flailing grasps at maintaining power butting heads with Zhu Li and Asami’s dreams of a future for Republic City are entertaining and give a satisfying conclusion to Raiko’s arc left dangling through the television series. The still-rebuilding Air Nation’s increasingly active role in the development of Republic City and the Spirit World’s increased presence is an exciting direction for the setting. What we have, it's kind of like the spirit world—it's special and rare. And not everyone is going to see it that way.❞Mako has the spiky hairstyle he sported throughout the first three books of The Legend of Korra, which was last seen in " Venom of the Red Lotus". [7] Running for 52 episodes between 2012-2014, The Legend of Korra was a sequel series to Avatar: The Last Airbender. Just like its predecessor, it created a very dedicated fan base who loved the show dearly. Despite Ikki having grown her hair out in Book Four: Balance and possessing this longer style in Turf Wars Part Two, her hair length reverts to the shorter style she had in the first three books of the series. I really liked The Legend of Korra TV series, even more than The Last Airbender, because it was more mature and with tighter plot (maybe except for the last season). I was quite disappointed that there'll be no Korra.... Recently I found out about the Turf Wars, and I was curious to find out what happens next. the korrasami kisses (there's more than one!!) cleared my skin, cured my depression & saved my year

Screw the Rules, I Have Connections!: Lin is unwilling to go after Keum without hard evidence because he's politically connected. Michael Dante DiMartino wanted Buttercup Raiko to play a part in her husband's re-election campaign, and she was the only character that he could not organically weave into the story. [9] Alles bei allem ist der Comic allerdings super schön, fängt die neue Reihe mit einer neuen Romanze an und viel Action. Freue mich schon auf den 2. Part der Comic Reihe (auch wenn die Wartezeit wirklich enorm ist..)Raiko also has a point that the recent war has left Republic City basically broke so he can't afford to spend money on things that don't benefit the city or its citizens, which doesn't include the spirits. A massive portal to the Spirit World now sits in the heart of Republic City, and no one, except the Air Nation, is particularly happy about that. Citizens have been displaced from their now-destroyed homes, and spirits have to contend with noisy, often dangerous humans freely crossing into their realm after centuries of relative solitude. The instability caused by the portal bleeds into every storyline, from the rising power of the Triple Threat Triad gang taking advantage of their rivals’ loss of territory to President Raiko’s scrambling attempt to retain his position in Republic City after failing to stop the invasion in Season 4 of Korra. Skewed Priorities: Raiko cares more about getting reelected than the housing crisis, and his campaign manager actually has to point out to him that dealing with the latter will help him with the former.
