About this deal

The Morganville Vampire series is criticized for being repetitive and predictable, with similar plots and characters in each book. I found it difficult to distinguish between multiple points of view, and the change from 3rd to 1st person narration is jarring. A coffee shop located just off the TPU campus, Common Grounds acts as neutral territory for meetings between the human and vampire population. This was the place Eve Rosser worked until she found out her hippie boss was actually a powerful vampire who tried to turn Michael into a vampire. This place plays great importance throughout the entire series. It is owned by vampire mafia boss Oliver.

We didn't even get to the vampires, and I already don't believe this story. In fact, unless they're pink and sparkly (which I've heard isn't true about this book) I believe the vampires more than I do the set up for this book. The entire set up is a series of glowing neon plot devices for the purpose of putting the main character into the situation author wants her in. There is nothing subtle or elegant about the first few chapters of this book. Nothing that shows any real desire to engage in serious world building on the part of the author. In short, it's lazy, and has done nothing to make me want to learn more about what comes next. It is another vampire story, but it doesn't seem rehashed to me at all. Maybe it was the characters, the creepy twists, or just the fantastic narrative voice. I SHIP CLAIRE AND SHANE OMG THEY'RE SO FUDGING CUTE LIKE SO CUTE WHEN I'M PICTURING THEM TOGETHER. As for Eve and Michael, yeah yeah whatever I don't mind anything. Do whatever you guys want hahaha. Introducing a new character, Myrnin is adorable and terrifying. Claire faces new challenges, such as difficult classes, a contract with a vampire, and studying with Myrnin. The plot is full of twists and turns, including a surprise visit from her parents, Eve’s psychopathic brother, and an enemy who wants her dead. The book’s strength is the friendship between the main characters, and the plot keeps the reader hooked. 4. Feast of Fools

In the modern world, if mom and dad want you close after you've graduated high school, they can do this wonderful thing known as let you live at home and take courses online. The entire MIT catalog is available online. I'm sure some sort of situation could have been worked out that didn't involve dropping their child in fratland because it's closer to home than MIT. Vampires are real, and a lot of them live in Morganville, Texas. Claire Danvers is a sixteen year old college freshmen, and after getting tired of being bullied all the time, she seeks out a place to live off campus, stumbling across the Glass house. In this book, history unravels itself in front Claire and her new roommates, Michael Glass, Eve Rosser, and Shane Collins. This first book of the Morganville Vampires series is definitely an eye catcher and will have you begging more. I thought the Glass' house looks like the house above. It was walled with mirror and windows. Don't blame me guys, but it was the author's fault, I don't know that it was Michael's surname. But I want to have one of those glass houses. Okay so this book started off as a 2/5 stars, but slowly reached a 4 stars. That's pretty impressive, but I'm determined to give this series a go as a friend of mine gave all of her copies to me for free. I was about to die towards the end when Shane was about to get burned alive. I about cried myself to death. I really love Shane, I just hope he doesn't piss me off in the books to come in this series.

Who knew having your laundry stolen would turn into 11 titled books , to date. ( Bite Club # 10, releases May 2nd 2011, Last Breath # 11 , releases 1st November 2011)What more i can say is that this is my favorite book so far so many things happening that brings everyone together even when they far from Morganville. The things I hate about this books is that the author always makes the character mysterious until the middle end of the story and it makes you busy thinking of the characters than reading the story. Like Shane and Oliver, you thought both of them are just simple characters or supporting ones but they had big roles in the ending. The story eventually leads to a rollercoaster of action, fear, and danger, with a resolution that excites readers for the next book. While the book can be read as a standalone novel, there are hints of future plot developments that will continue into the next one. 8. Kiss of Death What I absolutely loved is that there is never a dull moment. Myrinn is still as crazy as ever, though, less so, but now his crazy computer girlfriend Ada adds to the mix. And when a danger that is unexpected appears, the gang just cannot take a break. This book provides a new perspective by adding Eve and Amelie’s viewpoints. The author also adds another layer to the vampire lore by explaining why Morganville was created in the middle of the desert. Despite the series’ predictable formula, the book is fun and engaging, leaving readers curious about what’s to come.
