About this deal

I'm really liking these T30 fans! Their sound profile is nice and quiet, and when they do run fast enough to be heard have a very pleasant sound to my ears. EK made sure that the white shade of FPT fans matches the shade of the most popular white cases on the market to promote color uniformity and make it easier for customers to match the new fans with their PC cases. The white models of the FPT fans come with white cables, connectors, and rubber dampers. I really appreciate it when Members respond with the details of what is happening on their Xtrails.

Phanteks T30-120 Fan Review - One Fan to Rule Them All? Phanteks T30-120 Fan Review - One Fan to Rule Them All?

Because I was writing yesterday just from remembering hearing the Fan quite frequently while I am driving my Xtrail it did not occur to Me about the different `pitch` of the Fan noise - and that this was the ONLY reason why I could hear the Fan.I did not try this `Test` with the Air Conditioning On - could You let Me know whether the Right Hand Fan - as viewed from inside the Car - is ONLY to operate when there is the `Extra Load` of the Air Conditioning - ?

This Noctua fan is a balance of simplicity and quality. It’s a reinvention of a classic Noctua fan that can provide significant airflow and impressively low noise levels. At a quiet 18.1 dBA (even while putting out almost 60 cubic feet of air every minute) your PC will run quietly, reducing ambient noise in your work or play area. Diameter: 120 mm | Airflow: 100.6 CMH / 59.2 CFM | Noise: 18.1 dBA | LEDs: None | Connector: 3-pin | Dimensions: 4.7" x 4.7" x 1"Laptop ( Rozen-Zulu) : Sony VAIO VPCF13WFX | Core i7-740QM | 8GB Patriot DDR3 | GT 425M | Kingston 120GB SSD | Blu-ray Drive | Intel 7260 Wifi (lived a good life, retired with honor) After the 30 Minutes I brought the Engine to 2000 revs for a couple of minutes - No Fan operation - I did this again for 5 Minutes - the Left Hand Fan as viewed from inside the Car operated for 35 Seconds. I would appreciate any comments on only the driver's side fan working with the air con - as this may indicate a failure of the passenger side fan motor - unless it is only the one fan that is meant to run... A new motor with a Fluid Dynamic Bearing will significantly reduce noise, especially during low RPM operation. Operational friction is kept at very low levels even after years of service, unlike the traditional ball-bearing fans, which get noisier with time.

Testing Phanteks’ T30-120: Dethroning Noctua’s Finest

Even if the performance stands strong, not everything is perfect. We would have preferred to see regular standardized 3-Pin ARGB being used and a slightly longer PWM cable to not stretch them as much as they are. Sooooooo many words, bells and whistles but no data about what matters most from a fan that emphasize low noise and high static pressure: Speaking of moving air, the stat you want to keep your eyes out for is “CFM,” which stands for “cubic feet per minute.” The higher the number, the more air the fan can move, the better. That said, fans with the highest CFM also tend to be loudest. Chris, I think there's probably nothing to worry about, but let us know what sort of intervals it cuts in and out for when you get the chance. ALSO, the ambient air temperature on the day of the test.

Diameter: 140mm | Airflow: 87.16 CFM | Noise: 13.6 dBA | LEDs: None | Connector: 3-pin | Dimensions: 5.51" x 5.51" x 0.98" The Phanteks D30-120 comes equipped with integrated D-RGB lighting throughout its frame and blades on all sides. Multiple D30-120 fan frames can be linked together as one with bridge connectors and screw cover plates to reduce cables, resulting in extremely clean builds. The results speak for themselves. Phanteks’ T30-120 merrily beats the Noctua NF-A12x25 with the highest airflow for each noise level. When restricted by a radiator, the difference isn’t quite as drastic as in open air, but the T30-120 still wins by a healthy margin. A Word on Future Fan Testing Diameter: 120 mm | Airflow: 67 CFM | Static Pressure: 3.3 mmH2O | Noise: 27.3 dBA | LEDs: None | Connector: 4-pin | Dimensions: 3.94" x 3.94" x 1.17" On this one, we saw that the M25s managed to keep a relatively good noise-to-performance ratio, comparable to the Silent Wings 4 HS, but failed to match the one set by the Noctua NF-A14.

Both the fan blades and fan frame are made from the absolute best glass fiber reinforced LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) material. This makes the blades and frame extremely rigid and durable. The T30 is designed with exceptional aerodynamic features, which requires high precision manufacturing. LCP enables this thanks to its great material properties. The tip of the fan blade has a continuous and small clearance (0.5mm) to reduce turbulence and deliver unparalleled noise-normalized performance.Thermal pads (the rubber you are using) is very poor quality and certainly not suited for 'hot' countries like Mexico. The D-RGB lighting is integrated and visible from all sides of the D30-120 fan. The blades reflect the light coming from the Halos lighting ring inside the frame. Compatible with Digital-RGB equipped motherboards and Phanteks Digital-RGB products. Laptop ( Narrative) : Lenovo Flex 5 81X20005US | Ryzen 5 4500U | 16GB RAM (soldered) | Vega 6 Graphics | SKHynix P31 1TB NVMe SSD | Intel AX200 Wifi (all-around awesome machine)
