About this deal

We have a hover crib for Grogu and the ride-on droid transport trailer. A lot of the items allow for interaction and play with minifigures, with some builds belonging to a sub group in the calendar. There’s a lot of opportunity to create your own little stories with the builds. Overall, the difficulty of figuring out the wordless instructions for the mini-builds and putting together often-complex models makes me wonder about the “ages 5+” designation for the LEGO City Advent Calendar. Building these models was a fun challenge for me, but they might be frustrating for a child on the younger side of the age recommendation. For children closer to age five, an older person should be on hand to help them with these builds.

The “playable” elements such as the Balista and E-Web Heavy Repeating Blaster are kind of okay, but they really should’ve come with the Targets, instead of the Targets coming as their own window. Despite being a licensed set this does not come with any unique parts that can only be found in this set. It does however come with three unique minifigures that to date can only be found in this set. All of the printed parts in this set are all minifigure parts which is somewhat disappointing as most other advent calendars come with at least one unique or part. LEGO may have opted to save some costs and substitute printed parts with rarer minifigure prints. Conclusion Build a festive pet playground – Kids can enjoy assembling the pet playground as they open the doors The TIE Fighter’s design is hard to improve on at this scale, so there’s nothing really notable about the TIE’s design, and not a lot of innovation can be found here, but Star Wars fans like the comfort of anything from the Original Trilogy, so this inclusion makes sense.

This year’s Advent Calendar is a bit of a new experience as I believe it’s solely focused on The Mandalorian TV series which streams on Disney+, a departure from previous years where you had builds and characters from different movies/eras of Star Wars. Obscure it may be, but this landspeeder is certainly memorable from the series, especially as it becomes a great comedy moment in these usually more gritty stories. Even if the Slave I was already available in other Advent Calendars, I am happy to have it here. Moreover, on December 29th 2021, Disney will release the Book of Boba Fett TV series. Quite happy, even if this is a bit of a less popular vehicle, but the great design more than makes up for the slightly obscure vehicle. Shirley Keeper – This orange-haired, bespectacled woman in a reflective vest and carrying a push broom and, strangely, a green wine glass appears to be municipal worker of some kind, like a street cleaner. I like seeing a female minifigure that does some kind of outdoor work stereotypically associated with men, and as a bespectacled woman myself I like her glasses.

This awesome 335-piece building toy makes the best Christmas present for kids aged 6 and up. The characters and mini builds can be used with other LEGO® Star Wars™ sets for extra creative fun. The Tuskens appears in the Chapter 9: The Marshall and Mando knows very well both their culture and their language. Here are the starfighters and ships included, which is one of the highlights of the calendar as you get a great mix of classics such as X-Wings and TIE Fighters, but also some Mandalorian-specific ships like the Imperial Light Cruiser and Razor Crest. title=>"Collecting", :url=>"https://www.starwars.com/news/category/collecting"} {:title=>"Merchandise", :url=>"https://www.starwars.com/news/category/merchandise"} Shop Star Wars Exclusives at New York Comic Con 2023Thank you Jay! I’m quite keen on your commentary. I find it more thorough, more intelligent, and more useful than most. And you admit it when you’re wrong, and leave the evidence in plain view. Wow. I really appreciate that. Also, I’m on the US west coast, and I kind of like the 19 hour time difference because I’m so bored lately I’ve opened advent windows at the stroke of midnight. Sometimes your SW commentary was already posted! I don’t know if it was really made on purporse or not, but you can also fit your Tusken Raider in the free 2 studs in front of the sand wall. Features 7 LEGO® Star Wars™ characters, including The Mandalorian and the Child (Grogu), affectionately known as Baby Yoda, in festive outfits, plus a Tusken Raider, IG-11 and IT-O Interrogator Droid. Give Star Wars: The Mandalorian fans a brilliant surprise every day in the run-up to Christmas with the 2021 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar (75307) set for kids. Behind each of the 24 doors is a Star Wars building toy: LEGO minifigure, LEGO figure, buildable vehicle, weapon or accessory, all inspired by Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 2. While this is only my second year with a Lego Star Wars advent calendar, I am enjoying that some of the items this year are fun to play with – like the snowball launchers. (Albeit the snowballs hide when they land on the floor.) I am looking forward to seeing how this calendar pans out, and hope you continue to do this blog in the future.

Boba Fett’s Starship – This is the third time it was included in an Advent calendar; first in 2011 and again in 2013 in blue (representing when Jenga Fett owned it). It’s been several years so I’m ok with revisiting it, and it was built using some newer parts so it’s a nice remake on an always popular ship. At 25 pieces, it really looks nice and is way better than the prior two versions of it. these Star Wars advent calendars are must-haves for any fans of the galaxy far, far away.Read on for the best Star Wars advent calendars to gift yourself (or other Star Wars fans) this holiday season. It’s always a good day to get one of the most recognisable Star Wars ships in an Advent Calendar, and while the design might not be everyone’s cup of tea, I like that the designers took the risk to try something new, instead of riff on an established design – plus the bonus advantage of being able to display Slave 1 upright makes this a winner in my books Despite being a set with a lot of pieces there are not that many pieces exclusive to this set or non minifigure printed parts. The majority of printed parts come from the minifigures. I’m not as disappointed as you and many fans, maybe because I don’t have so much expectations at all, especially regarding minifigs, sure it’s poor to have random basic minifig instead of main characters. I guess Cara Dune wouldn’t make it through the Disney filter as Gina Carano was thrown away because of her personal opinions (unfortunately for her expressed publicly). It is what it is, and I’ve enjoyed most of it, but I do think it could have been way better. This is my first year with your blog as an accompaniment and I thank you for your time and effort! It’s really good to see others enjoying it (or not) and it’s even quite good to hear when other people made the same building mistakes we did. I just think the Advent Calendar focusing on just one Star Wars show ultimately hamstrung the potential, as it became quite stale after a while, because the sense of excitement and surprise just wasnt there – also because most of the builds were spoiled on the box anyway.
