This dell monitor is built for productivity and it is huge. It’s ok to Warzone or light gaming at 60Hz. Make sure that the video cable connecting the monitor to the computer is connected properly and is secure. A few permanently bright or dark pixels are considered normal by industry standards. When you notice screen abnormalities like distortion, clarity, horizontal or vertical lines, color fade etc., it is always a good practise isolating the monitor by running the Built-In Diagnostics. Change the color-setting mode in the Color Settings On-Screen Display Menu (OSD) to Graphics or Video, depending on the application.

Looking at the specs it seems that the only real difference is a C port that can now power a decent sized lap top. The panel itself appears to have essentially identical specs to the old one. And the old one is already a 4+ year old design and feature set. In fact, it is still using an 8-bit panel with a look-up table that was bleeding edge around 2015……. I also strayed away from the 5k monitors that have a 21:9/21:10 screens because I value being able to see more code vertically than have files open horizontally. I am graduating from a 32” Samsung VA panel. The colors on VA panels are simply garbage. Before that, I was on IPS displays. After the Samsung VA panel, I swore I would never buy a VA panel again.
