Firstly, we have decided to retire the ‘Mu’ brand. Many of you have been with us since we were just a sketch, when we won ‘Design of The Year’, when we crowd sourced the name ‘Mu’ (thank you Robin Freeman), when we met the Queen with the Mu, and then when we shipped our very first Mu Charger (The 5 Watt UK Mu Classic) in 2012. So thank you, it’s been a quite a journey, and you’ve been there with us. It’s difficult to get an exact weight figure for the Mu – since there are 4 parts to it, it depends on what you include. The easiest headline figure to give is the full boxed product weight, which comes in at a mere 141 grams. Obviously if you leave an adapter head at home, or swap their included cable for a lighter one then it will come in at even less.Mu have done something that should have been done a long time ago – redesigned the humble plug, from the ground up, so that it’s fit for the 21st century.
