About this deal

The Structure 24 definitely isn’t as stable as the Structure 22 and Structures before the 22 because of how much softer its midsole is but it’s still an incredibly stable ride and one of the most stable neutral shoes you can buy. The Nike Air Zoom Structure 22 is a running shoe designed for people with flat feet. It helps runners to train with appropriate support. Plantar fasciitis or flat feet problems can be treated by regular stretching but wearing a shoe that supports the arch and heel correctly is a more lasting solution and that's where the Zoom Structure 22 comes in. The product is also a good choice for anyone who trains daily with a view to covering longer distances as it its hard-wearing and offers good support over an extended period of time. The Dynamic support of the sole unit which i felt more closer to the heel felt unbalanced. This was mostly due to the height of the heel. The next three versions toned down the medial post, making them more comfortable and this broadened the target market. The firm ride still remained. Personal: B/ B+ ( Provides solid stability that works well with my feet and improves as the shoe breaks in, but feels heavier than I would like) However, the upper is a disappointment because the other elements of this shoe made the flywire ineffective. Nike Zoom Structure 22 Conclusions On the midfoot, the light green “Cucumber” coloured material can be seen through the large perforations. Kulmala, J. P., Kosonen, J., Nurminen, J., & Avela, J. (2018). Running in highly cushioned shoes increases leg stiffness and amplifies impact loading. Scientific Reports , 8 (1), 1-7.

You get thin reflective strips on both sides of the heel and a single strip on the medial side of the toe box for night-time visibility. There was a time when the Structure consisted of a tri-density midsole. It changed to a dual-density midsole in the Structure 20, 21 and 22. Now, it consists of a single-density midsole. Fit: A- (slightly wider fit, particularly in the toebox, but remains secure. Comfortable, well-padded upper )

Version 23 was one of the biggest updates in the history of Nike so it makes sense that version 24 is one of the smallest updates. It maintains the same midsole and outsole as last year’s version but it gets a new upper. It’s a high-intensity and high-impact distance for many runners. The difference with shorter distance races (I’m classifying the half marathon as a shorter distance due to some of the ultramarathons that I have run, it’s all relative of course), as opposed to ultramarathons, is that it’s a distance that tempts so many people (myself included) to run extremely hard over the entire time it takes to finish. The problem with running at nearly full intensity for over 1.5hrs, on a road surface is that you’re likely to be overstriding and putting a lot of pressure on your legs, which can cause a multitude of injuries including runners knee, ITB injury, shin splints, Achilles tendonitis, and plantar fasciitis, to name a few. Come to think of it, looking at that list, I suffered from all of those injuries when I started out my running journey.

I found the level of cushioning to be higher than most daily trainers and even softer than a lot of max-cushioned shoes. It was for sure softer than the Glycerin 18 and the Bondi 7. Initially, I felt the midsole was on the firm side but satisfactory. After putting over 100 miles in them, I can honestly say they just get better with age. After my first run in the Structure 23, I understood why Nike refrained from categorising the shoe as a stability shoe. On the other side, the outsole provided a highlight for the sole unit. The traction provided by the outsole handled every surface I on which I tested it.Last year, while testing the Structure 23, I thought that it was only good for slower-paced, easy or recovery runs. This year, I intentionally took the 24 out on faster-paced runs (between 4.30 and 5 minutes per km) and its performance was stellar. The Structure 24 is much more versatile than I thought. I love my Structure 23’s for long weekend runs. It serves the same purpose as my Triumph 18’s and my Floatride Run 2.0’s. It’s not nearly as responsive but it beats both of them when it comes to outsole durability. The Structure 24 can be used as your daily trainer, recovery trainer, or long run shoe. It’s not the best shoe for speed work because of its flexible forefoot and its plush upper which makes it weighty. Lightweight, durable, and breathable 3-layer FlyKnit Loft upper mesh. A sturdy upper helps secure the foot, and a comfortable one means you can run longer without chaffing the tops of your feet.
