About this deal

You could have it made into a piece of personalised artwork (though you might want to hide this one from the kids and any visitors!), stash it away with their Valentine's gift, send it in a rude and naughty text, or even read it to them out loud (if you're brave enough). Say what you will about women but I think being able to turn one sentence into a six-hour argument takes talent. stars - if you want to see pure abuse of my rounding system, it would be here with this book that I cannot in good conscience recommend, but will read more of without blinking twice and will quietly round up while shaking my head at myself.

Yuki won’t admit she likes Naruse. Naruse goofs off, or does he? An old teammate of Naruse’s enters the picture, but he’s scared of girls. Basketball happens and a date happens and kisses are stolen, but when has love ever been this dull? The closest book I could think of to this was the disastrous Abe-kun’s Got Me Now!, which featured a monstrous musclehead forcing himself on his chosen crush and whose title I just realize actually reads like a plaintive cry for help. But this story somehow works where that one didn’t and there has to be a reason why… Love is a fire. But whether it is going to warm your hearth or burn down your house, you can never tell. Naruse is Naruse and not sure what else to say. LOL! Granted, he too had growth in this volume and really enjoyed getting to know him better. I feel it will be slow-going (in a good way!) in getting to actually know him better, but I feel after this volume, I'm totally here for it! While he may still irk me just like he does Yuki, I'm hoping these two will have a consensual romantic moment (mainly by Yuki if I'm honest LOL) here soon. If you love them in the morning with their eyes full of crust; if you love them at night with their hair full of rollers, chances are, you're in love.Do you think that’s what love is? Not what they say on the front of those cheesy Valentines cards you see in petrol stations – you complete me – but is it when someone has seen you at your worst but still looks at you like you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to them? I think it might be.” ― Tanya Byrne

The basketball team! THAT is the highlight and part of a large reason why I can overlook Naruse's actions because I adore shojo sports manga and truly hoping that we will continue to have the strong sports overtone. I love how it weaves into the story and the romance and just everything about it. It is SO good! Marrying a man is like buying something you've been admiring for a long time in a shop window. You may love it when you get it home, but it doesn't always go with everything else. Then again, she’s also a bit of a nitwit who is sometimes her own worst enemy and, as worthless as Naruse is, they both occasionally grate in a way that made me think they deserve one another. Naruse’s unwarranted behaviour aside, she spends half this book as her own worst enemy. A collection of funny love quotes for him from her, some with love quote images that you can send on social media to your special guy. It's amazing how one day someone walks into your life, and then the next day you wonder how you lived without them. If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day so I never have to live without you.” ― A.A. Milne, Winnie the Pooh•
