Grosso' is considered by many to have the best scent of all lavenders and is often grown for use as a cut flower. Popular hybrid lavenders, or lavendins, include Lavandula x intermedia'Edelweiss' and Lavandula x intermedia'Grosso'. Lovely lavender plants have well-documented healing and calming properties and add a distinctive scent to any garden.
