About this deal

Warhammer is for everyone” the company said last year during the thick of the Black Lives Matter protests, and it felt good to hear that said. And Sisters of Battle started getting published at the end of 2021, and was completed February 15 of 2022. They dress in black armor with red accents and, like all Sisters of Battle, have a preference for flamethrowers.

It IS disappointing that they would go with another Imperium-based series when there are so many other interesting ends of the galaxy, including Eldar, Squats, and Space Orks. When I heard of the Sisters of Battle series coming out, I was so stoked because I love Warhammer, and I loved this book. It was a good death and a worthy sacrifice, played out in a lavish and cinematic battle, and I appreciated the story lingering there in its aftermath. Most recently, at 2021’s Warhammer Fest event, GW revealed a brand new centrepiece character model for the army, in the form of High Abbess Morvenn Vahl, the overall leader of the Adepta Sororitas (and a total badass in a golden-armoured Paragon Warsuit).Torunn GrØnbekk opens the story with a man in cobbled-together armor throwing what appear to be religious priests off a very high ledge. I've gotten amazing appetizers, and now I'm being blue-balled to wait for whether more will come or not. Despite the billions of mortal soldiers prosecuting that war, the camera more often than not lingers on the Space Marines.

It's no-holds-barred action, mystery and daemons galore as the all-female military force lets bolters blaze and flamers scorch in this all-new saga! It’s a very dire situation, which makes the violence and immediacy of the Sisters all the more merciful. He has a degree in Politics and a Master’s in International Journalism, but failed his cycling proficiency test twice. A squad of Adepta Sororitas, led by Canoness Veridyan arrive on planet Siscia to retrieve a lost Inquisitorial Acolyte and put down a heretical uprising. Both a pro and a con of Warhammer comics is how deep this lore goes, and how the creators navigate that to make it understandable to unfamiliar readers. With limited knowledge of Warhammer, I can safely say this issue offers a compelling world and enough detail to figure things out, but it still feels like I’m missing out on something a hardcore fan is lapping up. Meanwhile, the mighty Space Marines have been getting more colorful, with Black and brown faces appearing among the ranks of even the iconic blue-armored Ultramarines.
