The original Voyage has citrus fruit notes including orange, however, N-83 is a departure from that and instead opts to go with something that is fresh and clean with undertones of musk and smooth lavender.

As the citruses dissipate, the aquatic note becomes stronger, fusing with a musk. It is the same dry-down as the Nautica voyage original but has less emphasis on green wood accords. I do not recommend all Nautica colognes. However, a select few should be in every man’s fragrance collection. I appreciate what the perfumer tried to do with the notes blend, but the performance is a deal breaker. Voyage N-83 lasts three to four hours on the skin with light projection. It pushes out a foot or less for the entire wear. Even if you move around more, this doesn’t project better as it is so light. This performance is with five sprays. As you can see, there is no big difference between their prices, and both are quite budget-friendly. However, when compared, the price of Nautica Voyage is somewhat less than N-83.

Nautica Voyage Sport is a fresh fragrance made for sporty occasions – hence the name. It was released in 2016 and is one of the many flankers from the original Nautica Voyage. Voyage holds up and performs well on a summer day. If it’s between the two, Voyage wins. Now, Nautica is known for producing great fragrances at an affordable price, and these two perfumes are no exception. Once the musk appears, that is the entirety of the scent. Soon after, it becomes a skin scent and fades away.Apple, watery, mimosa, and some overt musk notes are present in the opening of Voyage. It has a perfume that is generally associated with cucumber or dew—a cold, watery scent. It smells faintly aquatic but not marine.
