Bloomsbury has announced House of Flame and Shadow, the third instalment of the Crescent City series by “Queen of Romantasy” Sarah J Maas. Azriel better get involved in the plot and team up with Ruhn because his dagger clearly is the one that's meant to be with Ruhn's sword. AND he also controls shadows. One thing that makes it really interesting is that azriel is the one who finds Bryce, and has the truth teller. anyone could have first found Bryce, and also, it was mentioned several times that, az's way of winnowing is different and that was why we knew it was him. while any ACOTAR character who can winnow can be the potential candidate to travel with Bryce, but I think azriel is the likeliest one, since ryhs for example is not in the position to do dangerous thing( the life bond between him and feyre, and the baby👀) Update 9 march 2023: oh oh, so we finally got the RELEASE DATE Y'ALL. you heard me. It's really happening in 2024😭😭 it's a relief to know even not sure (which actually i think it's the real date) aproximatly how many days we will have this in our hand. 🤩🤩 If Aelin does show up, it'll be brief. (As I said, she's tired, she's not here to fight) But if she does, I really just want her, Bryce and Cassian to interact because the chaos and badassery they would bring would be unmatched.

Update 21 march 2023: 🥲🥲🥲 yessssss IT'S PURPLE AND IT'S HOUSE OF FLAME AND SHADOW. I called it(actually so many people called it😅) and if we get rhun on the front cover, my soul would leave this world LOL. It should make sense because, Account icon An icon in the shape of a person's head and shoulders. It often indicates a user profile. Unpopular opinion here, but I don't care that much about the whole Day/Night romance, so while I want Ruhn to be happy and have a HEA, I don't want all the focus to be on them... We also know that Crescent City has several gates throughout the city and in Eternal City where the Asteri live. In House of Sky and Breath we find out that the Asteri would bring people from other worlds to live on Midgard through these gates. So where are the gates in ACOTAR?

This also lines up with the “rare red star” scene from A Court of Silver Flames. It was seen blasting across the sky around the same time period that Feyre would be heavily pregnant. The priestesses were calling it a bad omen, however, the theory is that it was Aelin falling through the multiverse. Hunt better not still have his freaking slave tattoo at the end of the book. Enough! He deserves to be free.

The only other place I can currently think of where there would be a gate is Ramiel. We know from ACOSF that there is an archway where Nesta makes her last stand to protect Emerie and Gwyn as they climb to reach the Monolith. Or is it possible that the Monolith itself is a gate?

and to keep this in mind that this will be the finale, I think we are going to spend a brief time in prythian, and this crossover thing is something that I'm pretty sure with the proof of TOG, sjm had truly set up her world for this crossovers, and it does make sense. we have to wait and see what Queen sjm has for us, one thing I know is that she is the queen of satisfying plot twist and CC3 will be nothing short of masterpiece. 😉🙇‍♀️ This is part of why I believe that Sarah J Maas had plans to connect worlds between her books all those years ago when she released Kingdom of Ash.

The House of Flame and Shadow with the Daemonaki, Reapers, Wraiths, Vampyrs, draki, dragons, necromancers, and others has an unknown origin. Either that or Ruhn isn't actually the son of Autumn King since he's clearly a descendant from the Night Court (Bryce literally thought Rhys was Ruhn so clearly there's a blood relation, But like the Autumn king is clearly from the Autumn court???? pls give me theories!)

bryce came to this world knowing that she wanted to come to hel, so I'm assuming there was a reason behind this wrong portal opening, unless she could have go directly to hel and find Aidas(and that's makes me Sus whether Aidas is in danger or some thing is wrong with him, because know that another prince of hell that i don't remember his face 💀 was in his form) Hunt Athalar has found himself in some deep holes in his life, but this one might be the deepest of all. After a few brief months with everything he ever wanted, he's in the Asteri's dungeons again, stripped of his freedom and without a clue as to Bryce's fate. He's desperate to help her, but until he can escape the Asteri's leash, his hands are quite literally tied.
