Now for the comparison swatches. People were wondering how similar Champagne Pop is to Becca Moonstone or Opal and also how it compares to The Balm Mary Lou. When you look at the pan and compare the shades, Mary Lou is the lightest of all, then comes Becca Moonstone, Becca Champagne Pop and the darkest of the bunch Becca Opal. Unlike traditional pressed powder highlighters, the unique formula fuses ultra-fine, pearl pigments with liquid for an ultra-buttery texture. The creamy formula builds and blends seamlessly, without ever looking glittery or chalky. The creamy formula refracts pure light from every angle for the most natural, luminous glow. Why It’s Special So if you don’t own any of the Becca highlighters Champagne Pop is a great shade to get since Becca claims that it would suit most skin tones. Yes, Champagne Pop from Becca cosmetics is good for every skin tone, including pale skin. This peachy-pink hue neutralizes the pink undertones in the skin to lend an even and radiant complexion.

An award-winning highlighter with an ultra-creamy formula that melts into skin for a natural, luminous glow. This looks like a deeper, more coppery version of Topaz. It’s the darkest shade in the current lineup and it’s got a warm, almost hint of reddish undertone. The pressed powder has a creamy consistency. Unlike other powder highlighters that are layered with powders, pressed powder is made by combining the pigments with liquid to achieve a buttery texture. They lend a natural-looking high-shine finish and are best suited for oily, combination, and normal skin types. Step 2: Lightly glide the brush, starting from your cheek’s high points and move up towards the temple and brow.

Best Buildable Formula:BECCA x Khloé Kardashian & Malika Haqq Bronze, Blush & Glow Palette – Gold/Khloé In all honesty when I look at Becca Opal swatched next to Becca Champagne Pop they do look very similar so if you already own Opal I don’t think you’ll have to get Champagne Pop. Or if you’re like me and you love highlighters you can actually tell a difference between the two :).

This is one the most recent limited edition releases. It’s a medium warm peach with a gold shift. This shade is warmer and the shift is more dramatic than Lilac Geode. I didn’t love the way this looked on me, I found the color a little intense and not super flattering but it would probably work better on deeper skin tones. Pale skin: If you have pale to light skin, you could opt for silver-toned, pearlescent, or champagne highlighter. A cool-toned Becca highlighter for fair skin would be a great choice. Although you need to avoid shades that are too warm, soft tones with golden highlights look great. We absolutely love Prismatic Amethyst, Pearl, and Moonstone. Liquid highlighters are lightweight and have a creamy texture. They are sheer and give your skin a subtle glow, while also providing all-day moisture. They are suitable for dry, combination, or mature skin types. Liquid formulations can also be mixed with your favorite foundation for a luminous appearance.

Swatches L to R: Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone, The Balm Mary Lou Manizer, Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Opal, Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Champagne Pop Shine a spotlight on your features with a pearlescent, ultra-reflective finish that’s never glittery The poured crème formula delivers a mattified shimmer and is great for dry, mature, and combination skin types since they offer a little hydration to the skin.Build where more glow is desired, such as cheekbones, the bridge of the nose, and chin. Repeat until the desired effect is reached. Medium skin: Since you have a warmer skin tone, you need to avoid anything that’s too silvery as it may look ashy on your skin. Look for hues that have more warmth like warm pinks, peaches, champagne, or gold. For medium skin tones, the Becca Opal highlighter or Rose Quartz should work well. As you can see by the swatches Becca Opal is slightly more golden and darker than Becca Champagne Pop that has peachy undertones. If I had to sum up my thoughts on the pressed Shimmering Skin Perfectors I’d have to admit they’re not my absolute favorite formula of pressed highlighter. Like I mentioned earlier, I prefer the liquid version (which seems to have been discontinued, WHY???😭😭😭). I gravitate toward a smooth and seamless powder like the Essence Pure Nude Highlighter or the highlighter in theBalm’s Will Powder Palette. Some of the Shimmering Skin Perfectors are just too sparkly or thin for my liking.
