About this deal

Avobenzone - the only globally available chemical sunscreen that gives proper UVA protection. It is not photostable so has to be combined with ingredients that help to stabilize it.

L’Oreal Revitalift – Clinical Vitamin C SPF 50+ Daily Review: L’Oreal Revitalift – Clinical Vitamin C SPF 50+ Daily

What seems to be a true difference, though, is that the salt form is more stable, easier to formulate andcheaper so it pops up more often on the ingredient lists. It’s the - sodium form - cousin of the famous NMF, hyaluronic acid(HA). If HA does not tell you anything we have a super detailed, geeky explanation about it here. The TL; DR version of HA is that it's a huge polymer (big molecule from repeated subunits) found in the skin that acts as a sponge helping the skin to hold onto water, being plump and elastic. HA is famous for its crazy water holding capacity as it can bind up to 1000 times its own weight in water. Best of all? Once on the skin, the fluid resists friction and is waterproof and sweatproof - making it perfect for holiday and day to day wear. Its INCIname is a bit of a mouthful, but Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine is worth recognizing it as it is one of the best sunscreen agents known today. Unfortunately, it's not FDA-approved so you will not find it in sunscreens coming from the US (not because it's not good, but becauseUS regulations make it impossible for newer sunscreen agents to get approved), but it is widely available in other parts of the world like Europe, Australia or Asia. INGREDIENTS: AQUA / WATER • ALCOHOL DENAT. • DIISOPROPYL SEBACATE • SILICA • ISOPROPYL MYRISTATE • ETHYLHEXYL SALICYLATE • ETHYLHEXYL TRIAZONE • BIS-ETHYLHEXYLOXYPHENOL METHOXYPHENYL TRIAZINE • BUTYL METHOXYDIBENZOYLMETHANE • GLYCERIN • PROPANEDIOL • C12-22 ALKYL ACRYLATE/HYDROXYETHYLACRYLATE COPOLYMER • DROMETRIZOLE TRISILOXANE • PERLITE • CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE • TOCOPHEROL • ASCORBYL GLUCOSIDE • HYDROXYACETOPHENONE • HYDROXYETHYLCELLULOSE • SODIUM HYALURONATE • TRIETHANOLAMINE • TRISODIUM ETHYLENEDIAMINE DISUCCINATE • CAPRYLYL GLYCOL • TEREPHTHALYLIDENE DICAMPHOR SULFONIC ACID • ACRYLATES/C10-30 ALKYL ACRYLATE CROSSPOLYMER • PARFUM / FRAGRANCE. (F.I.L. Z70013153/1).Some experts even think that regular exposure to alcohol damages skin barrier and causes inflammation though it's a debated opinion (read more in geeky details tab) As you can see from the picture; there is no white cast and no greasiness. This basically disappears into the skin (but there is a powdery finish i.e you can feel that powdery feeling on top of the skin). Because this is lightweight, I apply 2 layers just to make sure I’ve covered the skin as best I can.

It is an oil-soluble, slightly yellowish powder that is not absorbed into the skin too much. This is good news for a sunscreen agent as it needs to be on the surface of the skin to do its job properly. Regarding Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine side effects, we have good news here as well: it has a great safety profile and unlike a couple of other chemical sunscreens, Trinosorb S (and M) does not showestrogenic activity. As far as skincare goes, sodium hyaluronate and hyaluronic acid are pretty much the same and the two names are used interchangeably. As cosmetic chemist kindofstephen writes on reddit"sodium hyaluronate disassociates into hyaluronic acid molecule and a sodium atom in solution". Summer or Winter?: A great Summer SPF for Combination Skins. Oily Skins could enjoy this all year. Dry skins may appreciate this in the Summer. It gives very good protection acrossthe whole UVA range (310-400 nmthat is both UVA1 and UVA2) with a peak protection at 360 nm. The problem with it, though, is that it is not photostable and degrades in the sunlight. Wikipedia saysthat avobenzone loses 36% of its UV-absorptioncapacity after just one hour of sunlight (yep, this is one of the reasons why sunscreens have to be reapplied after a few hours).

One person said: “Lovely cream. Would recommend this product. Looks so vibrant once on. Great value”. UVB rays are the ones that cause of skin to burn. They penetrate deep into the skin and damage its outer layer. Overexposure to UVB rays tans the skin, alongside causing sunburn and redness. This contains Alcohol which is what gives this SPF it’s lightweight and spreadable nature and doesn’t really ball up either.

If you are someone who likes to know what you put on your face then fragrance is not your best friend - there's no way to know what’s really in it. Alcohol with some additives to make it unconsumable. It is great solvent, penetration enhancer, creates cosmetically elegant, light formulas, great astringent, and antimicrobial. In large amounts, it can be very drying to the skin.Third, in-vitro studies show that after ascorbyl glucoside is absorbed into the skin it is converted to pure vitamin C (though the rate of conversion is still a question mark). It also shows all the three anti-aging benefits (antioxidant protection + collagen boosting + fading hyperpigmentation) that pure vitamin C does. She went on to add: “It’s not greasy it’s not heavy it doesn’t pill on top of other creams… I love that it’s a fluid and not a heavy cream.”

NEW L’Oréal Revitalift Clinical SPF50 Fluid with Vitamin C

A colorless to light yellowish oily liquid that works as a UVB (280-320nm) sunscreen filter with a peak absorbance at 306 nm. It's not a strong filter in itself, it's always used in combination with other sunscreen agents. So now you know that because pure vitamin C is such a diva (very unstable and hard to formulate) the cosmetic industry is trying to come up with some derivatives that have the badass anti-aging properties of vitamin C (antioxidant protection + collagen boosting + fading hyperpigmentation) but without the disadvantages. This is a hard task, and there is not yet a derivative that is really proven to be better in every aspect, butAscorbyl Glucoside is one of the best options when it comes to vitamin C derivatives. Let's see why:AL'Oréal-group exclusive sunscreen agent commonly calledMexoryl SX. As opposed to most sunscreen agents, it is water soluble and protects in the UVA range with a peak absorbance at345 nm. [more] what‑it‑does It's the salt form of famous humectant and natural moisturizing factor, hyaluronic acid. It can bind huge amounts of water and it's pretty much the current IT-moisturizer.
