So, in the end, if you listen to this collection of songs and still don't feel what the rest of us feel, at least remember that the Moz has already told you why. This draw is conducted in a secure enivironment selecting an identifier which can not be used to access your account and the data is deleted as soon as the draw has been conducted. As with The World Won't Listen, this compilation includes the scrapped single "You Just Haven't Earned It Yet, Baby" (passed over in favour of " Shoplifters of the World Unite"), albeit in a different, shorter mix. However, this shorter version of the song was replaced when Bombs was reissued in 2011. Additionally, the Louder Than Bombs version of "Stretch Out and Wait" is the version from the B-side of " Shakespeare's Sister", which features slightly different lyrics. Also of note is the fact that " Ask" appears on both Louder Than Bombs and The World Won't Listen in a slightly different and longer mix than its single version. The cover art for Louder Than Bombs, designed by Morrissey, features British playwright Shelagh Delaney of Salford, Greater Manchester. The photograph was originally published in the Saturday Evening Post after Delaney, at the age of 19, made her literary debut with the play A Taste of Honey. The play inspired many early lyrics written by Morrissey, and the song "This Night Has Opened My Eyes" (included here) is based on the plight of the play's heroine, Jo, an unwed mother. Johnny Marr – guitars, piano, harmonica, slide guitar on "Panic", [11] mandolin on "Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want" and "Golden Lights", En cuanto al disco, fue el tercer álbum doble oficial recopilatorio que fue lanzado para el mercado americano por el sello "Sire" ya que un mes antes en Europa, se había lanzado el también genial "The World Won't Listen". I don't know, I just don't see what there is not to love. Marr's guitar drives and colors the songs perfectly, the songwriting is top-notch and always engaging and energetic, and I think Moz is really a great singer, even if his style does take some getting used to at first. Wolk, Douglas (18 November 2011). "The Smiths: The Smiths Complete". Pitchfork . Retrieved 23 December 2015. Debido a esto, se puede explicar la falta de temas como "There's A Light That Never Goes Out" y "Bigmouth Strikes Again", entre otros que ya habían sido publicados en la obra maestra "The Queen Is Dead". The Smiths represent an era or a time when things were felt with great wonder and excitement. It was also the last band that really expressed themselves through their design of album and 12" single covers. Each one was an entrance to a world that seemed gay or at the very least, a portrait of an artist who railed against the system or machine, and either played the price of becoming obscure or a footnote to a series of sad moments. The Smiths became the voice for those who felt differently or couldn't fit in the world that was clearly made for other people.

But even in the midst of all the self-pity, "Ask" displays a positive vibe and a sincerity that is infectious and even touching. It's an invitation to all the shy, reclusive ones out there to "ask" Moz if there's anything they'd ever like to try. "I won't say no, how could I?" he says. And it goes without mentioning that the tune behind it is downright infectious. Goddard, S, 2013. Songs That Saved Your Life - The Art of The Smiths 1982–87. 2nd ed. U.K.: Titan Books. P. 169.
